RecruitEasy are looking for a Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in Buckfastleigh, Devon.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a warehouse operative to initially work on palletising for a couple of weeks. Following this period, the client will look to move the candidate onto other duties within the warehouse. The work will last until September, with the potential for a temp to perm position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Stack and arrange products on pallets in a safe and efficient manner.
Wrap pallets securely using stretch wrap or shrink wrap.
Label pallets accurately with product information and destination details.
Inspect products for damage or defects before palletising.
Follow safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Assist with loading and unloading pallets as needed.
Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow runs smoothly.
Keep records of quantities and pallet configurations if required.
Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).

Requirements:

Ideally, experience in food production (e.g., Yeo Valley, Riverford, or Bottle and Canned).
Ability to start work immediately.
Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

We do not charge Payroll Admin Fees or use Umbrella Companies to process your pay.
